Tejas Web Lammas Ritual
Sunday, August 2, 2015
3:00 p.m. – 4:45 p.m.
At Ancient Mysteries
209 E Ben White Blvd
Austin, TX 78704
Join us to celebrate the first harvest!
Our ritual intent: We trust that the Goddess will provide.
In this time of the first harvest, we are thankful for what is given, even as we are aware we depend on the tribe to thrive.
Cushions
are available, but if you need a chair during the brief trance that
will be offered, please bring one. You might also wish to bring a small
item to charge with the abundance of the season. NO after-ritual
potluck, so please don’t bring food.
This
ritual includes a trance that calls for 15 minutes of relative silence,
and energy raising with chanting, drum, and movement. Children
accompanied by a responsible adult are very welcome, if the children are
of an age and temperament to enjoy this kind of activity.
This ritual is open to the public, and free;
donations to Tejas Web to defray costs are welcome. All Tejas Web events
are drug- and
alcohol-free.
Please
note our ritual ends at 4:45, and the Ancient Mysteries store will
close at 5:00 – so come early if you’d like time to shop!
