THE
ELEMENTS OF MAGIC (YOUR MAGICAL LIFE)
With
WildCat and Wren
Wednesday
evenings, April 30-June 4, 7-9:30pm
This introductory magic class is
cross-listed with WildCatMagic as Your Magical Life—see WildCat’s web site at http://www.wildcatmagic.org.
Elements of Magic is the
foundational Reclaiming Tradition core course, an introduction organized around the magical Elements of Air,
Fire, Water, Earth, and Spirit.
This class introduces the basic
magical tools that will help you create your life with conscious intention,
including purification, grounding, soul alignment, establishing a daily
meditation practice, casting a circle, working with energy, establishing
relationships with deities, divination with the Tarot, and spellcraft.
After completing this course, you will have the foundation to take on
with confidence the more advanced courses WildCat teaches, or the
additional core classes offered by Tejas Web: the Iron Pentacle, the Pentacle
of Pearl, Rites of Passage, and more.
Sliding fee scale: $125 - $185. Pay
what works for you within this range. To register or for more information, go

TEJAS WEB RITUAL FOR BELTANE
Saturday May 3, 7pm,
at the Seton Southwest Hospital grounds labyrinths, 7900 FM 1826, Austin 78737
In celebration of Beltane: We honor the secret wild places around us. We connect with the living mystery of the Earth.
On Saturday evening May 3, at 7pm, we will gather to walk the labyrinths on the grounds of Seton Southwest Hospital. Our hope is to create a simple ritual of connection and celebration.
Please bring: water to drink, something to sit on on the ground if you wish. Dress for the weather. Because we will be on Seton property, we will not hold our usual after-ritual potluck. There does not appear to be bus service to this location; if you would like to share a ride with someone, or offer a ride, please post to the Tejas Web email list (tejasweb@yahoogroups.com).
Children who would enjoy walking the labyrinth are welcome with a supervising adult.
All Tejas Web events are drug- and alcohol-free. Tejas Web gratefully accepts donations to support our magical work.
Directions: Seton Southwest Hospital is at 7900 FM 1826, Austin 78737. The main entrance to the grounds is not far from the intersection of Hwy 290 and FM 1826. To locate the labyrinths, turn into the main entrance to the Hospital grounds from FM 1826, then take the first right turn and follow the road up around the hill towards the high point, to the parking lot beyond a circle of trees and boulders. The labyrinths are just off the parking lot.

At

Our
intention: At a gathering of Tejas Web Communities, we tend the hearth,
embrace the wild, partner with our allies, and manifest the future that we
desire.
We
welcome all who are called by the intention, including children and partners.
Dandelion
Gathering offers a variety of activities, magic, and fun. Join us for Samhain
Magic, Family and Community, Reclaiming-style Ritual, Drumming and Dancing with
Ancestors and Fae, Hikes in the Wild, Pumpkin Carving, Children's Activities,
Costume Party, and vital Political Magic on the eve of the 2014 election.
With
the rapidly changing climate, the rise of extremism in religion and
politics, and global threats to the environment, peace, justice, and
equality, now is the time for us to discover new ways to work together.
By deepening our connections with allies and finding solidarity with those whose spiritual beliefs are aligned with the well-being of all living creatures, we understand the ways that the health of our communities and alliances will sustain us in the challenging times - now and to come. By cultivating our active participation in the positive shifting of how we live and interact in many circles of communities, we begin the evolution from an industrial-growth society to a life-sustaining civilization.
The ancestors and descendants guide us in this work.
