THE PENTACLE OF THE GREAT TURNING:
DESIRE, SURRENDER, TRANSFORMATION, SOLIDARITY, MANIFESTATION
A Magical Intensive on the Blanco River, facilitated by Morgana, Suzanne and Stephanie
October 11-13, 2013
Calling
all Tejas Web and ally witches, teachers, students, priestesses,
priests, magicians, and seekers to join in deep magic in community.
When: October 11-13, 2013, Friday evening through Sunday morning
Check-in 5-7pm Friday. Circle opens at noon on Sunday.
Where: Near Wimberley, Texas, in an intimate lodge overlooking the Blanco River! Real beds and bathrooms, and tasty, healthy food.
NOW IS THE TIME.
With the rapid changes in our planet and civilization, we need new
tools to assist us with clear-sighted action. We need allies to work
with us--human and non-human, seen and unseen. We need Deep Time and the
blessings of past, present and future. We embrace the Pentacle of the
Great Turning as the Great Adventure of our Time--the shift from an
industrial-growth society into a life-sustaining civilization.
Loosely
based on the work of Joanna Macy, birthed from Free Activist Witchcamp,
and informed by Reclaiming magic, the Pentacle of the Great Turning
engages us on all levels through exploration of Desire, Surrender,
Transformation, Solidarity, and Manifestation. As we step into the great
work that is ours for this lifetime, we have an opportunity to actively
transform the way we live on this planet, and create connections that
sustain life.
Join Morgana, Suzanne, Stephanie, and old and new Tejas
Web allies. We will engage in radical truth, aspecting, visioning, and
deep magic together as we explore the Pentacle of our shifting times.
Pre-Requisite: Elements of Magic or equivalent recommended. Ask if you have questions.
All Tejas Web events are drug- and alcohol-free.
Cost: $120 - $200 for the whole weekend
(includes food, lodging and facilitation). Pay what is right for you on
this sliding scale. Please register with a $50 deposit to hold your
spot. There are a limited number of beds, so register now.
We've
set the bottom end of the sliding fee scale so that it just covers the
cost of offering the workshop. We appreciate the generosity of this
community, and hope that those who can pay higher on the scale will do
so (and thank you to those who have already done so!). Our intention is not to turn away, for lack of funds, anyone who
wants to be with us. If you need financial assistance to be able to attend, please get in touch.
