Sunday January 30, in the Yard at The VORTEX, 2307 Manor Rd.
Gate opens at 6, ritual starts at 6:30. Arrive between 6 and 6:30 to visit Brigid's Well.
#20 Manor/Riverside bus stops near The VORTEX.
Our intention: We cleanse ourselves in the healing waters of Brigid's Well, and we forge our will in Brigid's cauldron to speak our truth and be heard.
Please bring
- food to share for the potluck feast after the ritual (finger foods preferred; bring your own re-usable plates and utensils), and
- an item (non-perishable food, clothing, baby and toddler supplies, etc.) to donate for Safe Place (http://www.safeplace.org).
Dress for the weather. Parental discretion is advised in bringing children, as there will be an open fire, and the main part of the ritual may not engage young children.
Admission to the ritual is free, but love gifts to support the magic of Tejas Web and the art of The VORTEX are much appreciated.
Please respect that all Tejas Web events are drug- and alcohol-free.

PARTNERSHIP MAGIC TRAINING
With WildCat and Fireball
In this intensive 9-month training, you and your partner will practice using magical tools that will enable you to bring more consciousness to your life partnership. By connecting with the gods and with your own higher Self and intentions, you will be able to work together consciously to break down destructive patterns and blocks to intimacy, to strengthen the cords that weave you together, and to raise your upper limit on love and happiness.
Teachers: WildCat and Fireball are experienced Witches (and lovers!) Both have learned to be conscious in love relationships through the school of suffering the consequences of being unconscious, and through the joy and struggle of creating a magical, conscious partnership together.
The training consists of 9 weekend workshops (Sept 12-13, Oct 24-25, Nov 14-15, Dec 12-13, Jan
9-10, Feb 13-14, Mar 13-14, Apr 10-11, May 15-16). Each workshop will be Saturday 10 am-9 pm, including an evening ritual, and Sunday 12-4. The series is open to committed partners, including those in nontraditional committed love
relationships as well as married couples. All participants need to have some previous experience with magic.
Cost is sliding scale $165-275/couple per workshop, with deposit of 1st workshop fee due a month in advance to hold space for the series. Discount option: $1200/couple in advance for the 9 workshops. There will be an extra charge for overnight accommodations (if available).

RITUAL FOR THE FALL EQUINOX, September 20, 2008, 9am till evening
SACRED LAND, SACRED SERVICE
The Fall Equinox is a time of balance, when we stand between light and dark, summer and winter. As we acknowledge the end of the season of abundance and harvest, and look towards the time of the year when the days draw in and the year moves to its close, we feel our closeness to the land, and we look for ways to show our gratitude to the Earth.
Tejas Web is hosting a day of sacred service to the earth, on beautiful wooded land near Austin that has cradled many of our camps and events. We will work together during the day on tasks and chores that serve the land, and as we end our day of work we will share food and collaboratively plan a Fall Equinox ritual of acknowledgement and gratitude. Please join us!
Details:
When: Saturday September 20, between 9am and early evening (if you are not able to arrive as early as 9am, come as soon as you can!)
Where: Contact Suzanne (512-282-5541, mcanna314@hotmail.com) for directions
What to bring:
- dress for the weather (including good sun protection: it will be hot) in clothes that are OK to get dirty
- work gloves and sturdy shoes
- clippers or other tools to cut brush
- we could use a wheelbarrow or two
- plenty of water to drink (more than you expect to need!)
- your own sack lunch
- for dinner before the ritual, a potluck item to share that is pre-prepared and does not need heating or cooking (there will be a refrigerator to store things that need to be kept cool)
- your inspirations for ritual planning
We especially need one or more pickup trucks that can be used to haul things away, and if possible we need these early that morning, as close to 9 as possible, so there is time to load them. If you can offer a pickup truck, please contact Suzanne (512-282-5541, mcanna314@hotmail.com)
As with all Tejas Web events, this day of sacred service is drug- and alcohol-free.
