Fall Equinox: A Magical Mabon -- Gender and Spirituality in Reclaiming
Saturday, September 24, 2011 11am-5pm
In Austin, location to be announced
Join Tejas Web to honor the balance of the Fall Equinox with:
o Community Ritual
o Consensus Workshop facilitated by Morgana and Juniper
o Discussion about Gender and Spirituality
o Lunch
Tejas Web is a community of ritualists, witches, activists, and magicians who seek to transform our world and our spiritual practices with consensus-based magic. Since 1994, we have been creating rituals, classes, camps, and events centered on these spiritual practices.
Tejas Web is part of the greater Reclaiming Community. The Reclaiming Principles of Unity is a written document that holds an understanding of our spiritual values in the global work of Reclaiming.

There has been a wide call for the Principles of Unity to be more gender inclusive or more gender neutral. This sentence is the one that is under consideration to be changed: “Honoring both Goddess and God, we work with female and male images of divinity, always remembering that their essence is mystery which goes beyond form.”
Reclaiming Communities around the world are gathering to discuss these important issues. Tejas Web turns the wheel together as we gather for magic on the Fall Equinox, to work in sacred space, to rediscover consensus discussion on a community level, and to make magic to open to the opportunities of balance in gender-inclusive ritual and language.
Lunch is provided with vegan, vegetarian, omnivore, and gluten-free options. Attendance for this event is by donation at the door (for the food and the venue). Suggested donation $10 but no one turned away for lack of funds.
Please RSVP your attendance and food option (omnivore, etc.) to Suzanne, mcanna314@hotmail.com (so that we will have enough lunch for you).
