Spring Equinox Celebration
Our ritual intention: Having germinated in the darkness, we emerge joyfully into the light, empowered by our choices, to claim our place in the ongoing cycles of growth.
Join with Tejas Web to celebrate the emergence of Spring! We joyfully mark the turning of the wheel and welcome home the Light.
When: March 20, 2010 at 3pm (Gate opens for gathering at 2:30pm)
Where: The Yard at The VORTEX, 2307 Manor Rd. Austin, TX 78722
Cost: FREE (Love offerings welcome on behalf of Tejas Web and The VORTEX.)
Please bring: An item to share at the Feast & a canned food donation for SafePlace.
You may wish to bring:
· Food and drink (no alcohol) items to share for our Community Feast.
· Personal plate and cup for use at the feast.
· Non-perishable food item donation for Safe Place.
· Something to sit/lie on for trance.
· Drums, rattles, and other percussion instruments.
· Veil or scarf for ritual costume.
· (Previous magical knowledge is not required.)
Some parts of the ritual may be tiring or unsuitable for young children. Parental discretion and supervision required.
