RITUAL: Brigid Faire - Call for Pagan and Pagan-Friendly Artists, Groups and Vendors
This February, Tejas Web will hold the 7th Annual Tejas Web Brigid Faire.
The Brigid Faire is a fundraiser for Tejas Web, an inclusive web of allies operating within the Reclaiming tradition of eco-feminist earth-based magic.
This year's Faire will be held Sunday, February 7, 2010 from noon until 5pm at the Vortex Theater Yard, at 2307 Manor Road.
Midway through the Faire, at 2pm, Tejas Web will hold a public Brigid Ritual.Brigid is the tri-fold Goddess of Poetry, Healing and Smithcraft.
We invite a variety of Pagan and Pagan-friendly artists and vendors to participate and to display their talents and wares in Sacred Space. Our ideal event includes performances by poets, drummers and musicians of all kinds. Come on out and show your skills!
Reclaiming will have an educational table, and we invite other magical or eco-friendly groups to come out and have educational and demonstration booths as well. Want to talk about your kick-ass classes and rituals? Want to hold an organic gardening demonstration? This is the place!
We also seek vendors of all kinds. Past Faires have included herbalists, artisans, soapmakers, booksellers, craftspeople, clothiers and many others who overlap well with the Pagan community. Tarot reading in several “flavors” is now traditional at this event.

Vendor Fee: In past years, we have operated on a set vendor fee of $20. This year, we are conducting an experiment, and asking vendors to tithe a portion of their proceeds back to Tejas Web.
· Suggested donation is $20 for any for profit businesses, but please consider a tithe of 10% of your profits – giving you the flexibility to donate something greater if you have massive sales, and less if you come out and have fun but don’t sell much.
· Cash or check will be accepted on site for your donations.
· Fees are waived for non-profit groups providing demonstration and educational tables.

Important details:
Vendors should be prepared to bring everything they need to set up their booths, including tables, shading, and any other materials. The VORTEX will have folding chairs available for rental at a $2 fee – but will be unable to provide any other materials.
Performers who require amplification should provide their own public address system (PA) — or arrange to borrow one.
